Yazzie Parka was founded by Yasmin Nash, a graduate of Falmouth University. Yasmin studied Fashion and Performance Sportswear design; with a particular emphasis on the use of natural fibres and functionality. This interest arose from the close study of Inuit people’s design; the use of the materials that were historically available to them and that proved to be effective.
For Yazzie Parka, Yasmin aims to use natural materials wherever possible. The availability of manmade technical fabrics allowed her to combine water resistant, light and flexible materials into practical clothing. Yasmin designs with a bold aesthetic element utilising pattern and vibrant colour.
Apres-ski casual wear naturally evolved from the slopes; everyone wants to look good and chill. In 2016, Yazzie Parka introduced a range of comfortable tees and sweatshirts, hats and snoods with a variety of attractive and original designs.

Our name comes from a childhood friend, Lisa Parker, who sadly passed away recently; having suffered with Cystic Fibrosis.
Part of our mission is to raise as much awareness of this disease as possible; offering support to the Make a Wish Foundation for the improvement of CF sufferers’ lives.
